Shaina is a versatile stylist with over a decade of experience behind the chair. Originally from Chicago, she moved to Seattle in 2005 to chase her dreams of becoming a rockstar. It was there that she found and started her career in hair and is back to share her knowledge and passion with this city. If you have a vision, she can bring it to life. Additionally, Shaina specializes in Loc/Dreadlock services on all hair types and textures. Her passion for this hairstyle led her to study the history, cultural significance, and care required to care for those who have/want locs. This service is by phone appointment only and will require an in-person consultation.

As the manager of Little Broken Things Chicago, Shaina focuses on contributing to, and building on, our already incredible community, enriching the client experience, and leading her team with empathy and consistency.

When Shaina isn’t at the salon, her wife and three dogs keep her busy. She’s a huge gamer, a massive swiftie, and still loves to make music. She’s obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The X-Files and loves a really great live concert.
